Fundraising for our kids
Our P&C works closely with our school and community to identify the best ways to improve our school environment for all.
We rely on the support from all corners of our community: our families, local businesses, grants and more.
Read more below about our goals and progress in 2024.
We will need all the support we can get to make these ambitious plans become reality for our kids.
If you can support any of our fundraising initiatives this year, please reach out via the contact form or email us at info (at) junctionpandc.org

STEAM Hub
TJPS has a vision to establish a permanent STEAM Hub, including dedicated workstations and technology to support STEAM lessons.
Our P&C are currently fundraising to support the school’s vision. Our fundraising will enable the purchase of laptops, iPads, Hovercraft Drones, a 3D Printer, Lego STEAM Kit, purpose-built furniture and other related technologies.
Our future is tied to innovation and new solutions for people and planet. STEAM learning sits at the heart of this. STEAM education prepares kids for an ever-changing workforce.
STEAM is also engaging - kids love the ability to be hands on with these technologies and see science in action!

Multi-purpose outdoor space
At TJPS we are so lucky that our kids have wonderful spacious grounds. However, some of this space is not being used to its potential due to access and weather (parts of the grounds are prone to flooding in rain) etc.
The school has proposed to establish a multi-purpose outdoor space on one side of the back field. This will be used for many things including - play, sports and outdoor learning. The surface will mean that it is accessible to all kids, and able to be used in more types of weather.
A multi-purpose approach means multiple sports and activities can be accommodated in a single area.
The P&C has resolved to support the school in establishing this space in 2024.
Plans are currently being coordinated with the Department of Education with expected construction later in 2024.
Donations to this space can be tax deductible (conditions apply).
